It began in 1974 with a single stitch. Eric Reynolds and Dave Huntley started sewing prototypes of their (now infamous) down sleeping bags and jackets. The founder of Mountain Gear recalls his first down sleeping bag was made by Marmot. Decades later Marmot is still producing affordable quality that is trusted by all levels of outdoor enthusiasts.
